LUCENA CITY – Police seized over P122,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from three drug suspects in Lucban, Quezon on Friday.
The arrested suspects were identified as Arnel Placino, 55; Ryan Obmerga, 35; and Melba Enriquez, 44, police Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, reported Saturday.
Police collared the suspects after they sold a pack of shabu to a police agent in Barangay (village) Kalangay at around 6:25 p.m.
Authorities confiscated three plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P122,400.
Police also seized Placino’s .22 caliber rifle single bullet. The firearm had no documents.
The suspects were detained and are will face a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Placino will also face a formal complaint for illegal possession of a firearm and violation of the election period gun ban.
